The alumni of Grade 71 of Tsinghua Affiliated High School returned to celebrate the centennial birthday of their Alma mater

On the afternoon of March 8, the alumni representatives of Grade 71 of Tsinghua Affiliated High School (junior and senior high school) returned to school and held a symposium in the conference room on the first floor of the training center to congratulate their Alma mater on its centennial birthday. Attending the event were Sun Dapeng, director of the centennial Celebration Office, Yan Mengxing, Wu Jiuru, and a total of 50 alumni representatives of Grade 71。

Around 2 p.m., the alumni who met to attend the reunion began to walk into their Alma mater after many years of separation。People greeted each other, some of whom had not seen each other in 40 years since graduating from high school, and had to give their names, and then there was laughter, and everyone hugged and was happy, remembering as much as they could about their childhood。

When we walked into the meeting room on the first floor of the training building, a line of bright red letters "Warmly welcome 71 alumni homecoming party" came into view, making alumni feel very close, as if they were going home。At the beginning of the event, Sun Dapeng, director of the Centennial Celebration Office, welcomed everyone on behalf of the school, and introduced the preparations for the centennial celebration activities of the High School Attached to Tsinghua University and the construction of the alumni network. Alumni were welcomed to actively participate in the series of activities for the centennial celebration of the Alma mater, and contributed suggestions and contributions to the success of the centennial celebration。Subsequently, Mr. Yan Mengxing explained the centennial history of Tsinghua Affiliated High School in detail through detailed data and pictures, and connected a complete vein of the centennial history of the school for us in a condensed way, which was very rewarding。

After the photo was taken, everyone excitedly walked into the main building - the only teaching building of the year, running from the first floor to the fourth and fifth floors, looking for their respective classes in junior high school and senior high school classrooms。Several alumni of Class 716 are still sitting in the original classroom, copying the scene of raising their hands to speak in class that year, and their excitement is beyond words。Then we visited the school history hall together, and saw the familiar faces of the teachers who had taught us in the photos, and felt very excited and reluctant to leave for a long time。

In the minds of the alumni, today's Tsinghua High School has changed dramatically from when we studied in school 40 years ago, and the appearance of the alumni has also changed to different degrees, but everyone's love for the Alma mater has not changed。May our Alma mater do better and better, and may the friendship of the students of Grade 71 last forever。
