The 9th Student Leadership Training Camp of Tsinghua Affiliated High School held MBTI personality test lecture

On the afternoon of March 8, 2018, the 9th session of the Student Leadership Training Camp of Tsinghua Affiliated High School organized the campers to participate in the MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) self-cognition and personality test lecture in Room G103。Mr. Luo Yuxin, the certified tester of MBTI Personality Type Index and Harrison Assessment and the director of the Family Committee of Tsinghua High School, was invited to give a lecture。About 20 campers from the Leadership camp attended and listened carefully to the lecture。

Mr. Luo Yuxin is one of the earliest management training coaches in China，He is a lecturer in "Situational Leadership" at the American Center for Leadership Studies，He was the director of the Growth class of Legend Star Entrepreneurship CEO Training Class of Legend Holdings Limited，Head of Training Center, Leadership and Organizational Development Department, Sino-British Life Insurance Company Limited。

The MBTI personality test is a theoretical model that develops four different personality dimensions based on Jungian theory: motivation source, information gathering, decision making and lifestyle。Through self-testing and analysis one by one, we can realize our personality bias。

Teacher Luo Yuxin introduced the topic with a small game to distinguish bananas, so that campers understood the truth that there is no good or bad character, and then encouraged campers to position their actual situation in each dimension。With four dimensions and eight options (extroversion, introversion, feeling, intuition, thinking, emotion, judgment, understanding), campers have a deeper understanding of the four dimensions through a combination of self-reflection and group discussion。Activities such as identifying elements in paintings and writing activity plans also made campers further realize the importance of personality complementarity in team cooperation。Teacher Luo Yuxin further pointed out that only through the combination of written answers and self-tests to evaluate the personality test, in order to ensure the accuracy of the assessment, so as to overcome the weaknesses in character, faster and better play the purpose of life value。

In the course of listening to the lecture, the campers were enthusiastic, actively cooperated with teacher Luo Yuxin, earnestly learned the relevant knowledge about MBTI personality test, and boldly expressed their ideas。The campers not only know themselves, but also gain a lot of psychological knowledge。Finally, the lecture was successfully concluded in the warm applause of the campers。Several campers expressed hope for more such activities。
